Suresh Chand Sharma Degree College

Out on Basari Road in Jaganair, that's where Suresh Chand Sharma Degree College sits. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Agra city, but this is where we are. The college is a place where young people from the villages around Jaganair come for their higher studies. It’s a quiet area mostly, surrounded by fields. The building is large and spread out. We have several classrooms and a library that stays quite busy during exam time. You won’t find any fancy elevators or glass walls here. It’s all brick and mortar, built to last. The students usually come by bus or on their motorbikes. In the winter mornings, the fog gets really thick on Basari Road, so things start a bit slow. We have a small canteen where everyone grabs tea and some snacks. It’s a humble place, really. The staff here are mostly local people who understand the challenges of living in this part of the district. We don't have a huge marketing team or anything like that. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives. The furniture is simple, and the blackboards have been used for many years. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students, there’s always some dust. It’s just a regular degree college serving the rural community near Agra. We do our best with the resources we have.
