Sky Academy

Sky Academy is our little place here in Agra. It’s not a huge campus with hundreds of rooms. We just have a few classrooms where we help students with their studies. We’ve been doing this for a while now, mostly focusing on getting kids ready for their exams. The furniture is a bit old, and the whiteboards have some stains that won't come off, but it’s a good place to learn. We don’t have a big marketing budget or flashy signs around town. Most of our students come to us because their older siblings or friends did. It’s a lot of hard work for the kids, and we try to keep them focused on their books. Agra can be hot, so we have fans going all the time which makes a bit of a hum in the background. We aren't some corporate chain. We're just local teachers who want to see these kids do well. Sometimes we have tea together after the classes are over and talk about how the day went. It’s a very informal atmosphere here. We don't promise any miracles, we just tell the students they have to put in the time. It’s a small community of learners. We keep the doors open and the lights on late into the evening. There's always a stack of old textbooks in the corner for anyone to borrow. We just hope to help out where we can. It’s not complicated, just showing up every day and helping out with the lessons.
