Kisan Inter College

Kisan Inter College is located in Korai Kiaroli, which is a part of Agra that most people don’t visit unless they live there. The 282001 area is a mix of old houses and small family businesses. We’ve been here for quite a while, and the school building has a lot of history in its bricks. It’s not a shiny, modern place by any means. The paint is peeling in some spots, and the playground is mostly just hard-packed dirt where the kids play football. I usually get here before anyone else to make sure the lanterns are ready if the power goes out and the rooms are unlocked. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy logo. We just provide a place for the local kids to get through their lessons. The staff is like a small family; we’ve all known each other for years. We drink our tea together in the staff room and talk about the local news. It’s a very grounded way to live. We don't try to compete with the big private schools in Agra. We just focus on our own students here in Korai Kiaroli. It’s a simple, honest school, and we take pride in just being a steady part of the community for all these years. Most of our students end up staying in the area to work.
