Smt Shanti Devi Girls I College

Smt Shanti Devi Girls I College is right in the middle of the Hasnpura neighborhood in Loha Mandi. Being in Agra, it can get pretty loud outside with all the trade and people moving around, but inside our walls, it is mostly just the sound of classes. We have been running this place for the girls in the area so they have a spot to study close to home. The college isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular building with a big gate and some stairs. Inside, the rooms are filled with benches and the walls are covered with charts the students made. We have a small office where we keep all the records and talk to the families who come by. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. We just open up early, sweep the floors, and get ready for the day. During recess, the courtyard is full of life, and then it goes back to being quiet for the afternoon lessons. It is a bit dusty because of the location in Loha Mandi, but we manage. The staff here has been around for years, and we know most of the families in the 282002 area. It is just a local school doing the work every day without making a big deal out of it. We keep our heads down and just teach.
