Smt B D Jain Girls Inter College is located at 32 A Garden Road in Agra Cantt. If you’ve ever spent time in the Cantt area, you know it has a bit of a different feel compared to the rest of Agra. It is a bit more open, though Garden Road itself can get quite crowded when the college lets out. The building has been here for a long time, and you can see that in the architecture and the way the walls look. It is a place specifically for girls, and we see generations of the same families coming through our doors. The morning starts with a lot of chatter as the students arrive. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here, just the basic stuff you need for a decent education. There are trees around the property that give some shade during those really hot Agra summers, which everyone appreciates. We spend a lot of our time just managing the daily schedule and making sure everything is in order. It is an old-fashioned kind of place, I suppose. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a space for the girls to learn and grow up. The staff knows the neighborhood well, and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our spot on Garden Road. It is just a steady, local college doing its thing every day.
