Shri Jawahar Inter College

People in Ram Nager Khandauli mostly know where we are. It’s right here in the Khandauli part of Agra. The building has been around for a bit and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. Every morning, the street gets busy with kids coming in. Some walk from nearby and others come from a bit further out. We have the usual classrooms and a playground that stays dusty in the summer. It’s a loud place once the bell rings. Most of us working here live nearby too. We spend the day dealing with paperwork and making sure the students stay in their seats. There is a lot of chatter in the hallways during breaks. The desks are the old wooden kind that have seen better days but they still work fine for the lessons. We don't have fancy stuff, just the basic things needed for a school to run every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows wider to let the air in. It is just a normal school life here in Agra. People stop by the office to ask about admissions or just to talk about their kids. We try to keep things organized but it gets messy sometimes when exams are near. That's just how it goes at Shri Jawahar Inter College. We are just part of the neighborhood here. Most of the teachers have been here for years and they know the names of almost every student that passes through the gate.
