Sant S R Public Int College

Sant S R Public Int College is located in Basai Kala, which is part of the Taj Ganj area in Agra. It’s a busy neighborhood, and the college has been a part of it for a long time. We have students coming in for their intermediate studies, so you see a lot of teenagers around the campus. The building itself is an older one, with thick walls and high ceilings that help keep the heat out during the Agra summers. We don't have any of those modern glass buildings you see in the big cities. Everything here is very traditional and functional. The classrooms have rows of benches that have seen many years of use. We have a small staff room where we sit and grade papers or have tea during the breaks. The atmosphere is quite grounded. We don't use any fancy language or complicated systems. It’s just about getting the students through their curriculum and helping them prepare for their exams. You’ll often find groups of boys and girls sitting in the courtyard discussing their subjects or just chatting about their day. It’s a very local feel, and we know many of the parents by name because they grew up in this same area. The Taj Mahal isn't too far away, but life here is much more about the daily grind of schoolwork and local community life. We just try to keep things moving steadily every day for the young people in our care.
