Sant Daynand Int College

Up in Sewla Jat, near Taj Ganj, you’ll find Sant Daynand Int College. It’s an area of Agra that stays busy with people coming and going. Our college building is a familiar sight to the people who live around here. We have older students, so the atmosphere is a bit more serious than a primary school, especially when exam season rolls around. You’ll see teenagers huddled together in the hallways studying or talking about their plans. The classrooms are basic, with long rows of benches and blackboards that are always covered in notes. We have a lot of local staff who have been here for years and they know how to handle the rowdy energy of the students. The courtyard is where everyone hangs out during the breaks, and it gets quite crowded when the sun is out. We don’t put on many airs or graces; it’s just a place for learning. The paint on the outer walls has been beaten by the sun, but inside, the focus is on the books. Sometimes the noise from the street drifts in, but the students are used to the Agra bustle. We keep the gates open in the morning and shut them once classes are in full swing. It’s a straightforward institution where we try to get the youth ready for whatever comes next. Most parents around Sewla Jat know us as the local spot for their kids to finish their schooling before moving on.
