Being over here at the Khandari Campus in Agra means we see a lot of activity every single day. Rbs College has been sitting on this patch of land for a long time, and you can tell by the way the walls look in some of the older halls. It’s a big space, so we spend a lot of time just making sure the gates are open and the lights are working. Uttar Pradesh heat can be tough, so the ceiling fans stay on pretty much all day long. Students are always hanging around the courtyards between their classes, talking or just sitting on the steps. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming through, there’s always a bit of dust or a stray paper somewhere. It’s not like those shiny new offices you see in magazines. It feels lived in. We have some old wooden benches that have been here forever. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees try to get inside, which keeps things interesting. Most of us who work here live nearby, so it’s a short commute. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers around the campus area. It’s just a steady, normal place to be. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just classrooms and books and people trying to get through their exams. It gets noisy when the class bell rings and everyone moves at once.
