Ram Chandra Sarraf Girls Inter College

You can find this girls' college in Peepal Mandi, which is right in the old heart of Agra. It’s a very crowded area with narrow lanes and lots of shops selling all sorts of things. The college has been around for a long time, and the building definitely shows its age. It’s a bit of a landmark in the 282003 area. Since it’s a girls-only inter college, we have students from the middle school years all the way up to the end of high school. The classrooms are high-ceilinged and can get quite warm in the summer months. We have old wooden furniture that’s been used by many generations of students. There isn't much in the way of a campus, just the building and a small inner courtyard where the girls can sit during their breaks. The sound of the market outside is always there in the background. We have a small group of staff who handle everything from teaching to the accounts. It’s a very traditional place, and we don’t really do any marketing or promotion. Most people in Agra know us already. We focus on making sure the girls get their degrees and learn their subjects properly. It’s not a fancy or polished institution. It’s a place of learning that’s very much a part of the old city's fabric. We just keep things moving along year after year, teaching one class at a time.
