Down in Ferozabad, you’ll find Pandit Murari Lal Inter College. Agra is a big place, but our little corner is where we spend most of our days. The college has been part of this community for a while now. We aren't tucked away; people know where we are. Usually, the mornings start early with students coming in from the surrounding streets. It gets dusty sometimes, and the noise from the road is always there, but we don't mind it much. The building itself is sturdy and has seen a lot of classes come and go over the years. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the basics that a school needs to function properly. Our address is 283203, so we get a lot of mail for the teachers and the office. Handling the daily schedule takes up most of our time. There’s always a bell ringing or someone looking for a missing notebook. We try to keep the courtyard clean, though it’s tough with so many people around. It’s a plain, honest place to work. We focus on the books and the exams mostly. The staff rooms are usually cramped with papers and tea cups. It’s just how things are here in Ferozabad. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just open the doors every morning and make sure the students have a place to sit and learn their lessons before they head back home.
