Nagar Nigam Inter College

You can find us on Purani Mandi Road in the Taj Ganj area of Agra. Nagar Nigam Inter College is a local school that's been around for the community for quite some time. Being so close to the Taj Ganj area means it's always busy around here with tourists and locals, but we just focus on the students. The building is pretty standard, nothing too flashy, but it’s got enough room for all the kids who come here from the surrounding streets. We teach the usual subjects and try to keep things organized, even when the streets outside get a bit chaotic. Most of our staff live nearby, so we’re all part of the same neighborhood. We see the kids grow up from year to year, which is a nice thing about working in a place like this. The classrooms have the basic stuff needed for learning, and we make do with what we have. It’s a government-linked school, so we follow the rules and just try to help the kids get through their exams. Parents are always coming in to ask about progress, and we give it to them straight. There’s no point in making things sound better or worse than they are. We just want the students to learn their lessons and move on to the next grade. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve been doing it for years on this same road. It’s just a normal part of life in Agra for us and the families here.
