Maa Bhagwati Inter College

If you take Fatehabad Road out in Agra, you’ll find us easily enough. Maa Bhagwati Inter College is right there where the traffic usually builds up. It’s an old-school kind of place, really. We have students coming in from all the nearby neighborhoods, some walking and some on bikes. The building is sturdy and has been around for a good while. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of teachers talking and pens scratching on paper. We don’t have those fancy lounge areas or high-tech glass walls. It’s just rows of wooden desks and students trying to figure out their math and science problems. Being on Fatehabad Road means it’s never really quiet outside, but once you’re in the back classrooms, it settles down a bit. We spend our days managing the registers and making sure the bells ring on time. The tea stall nearby is where some of us grab a quick drink during the short breaks. It feels like a small community here. We know the shopkeepers on the street and the people living in the houses behind the college. It’s a straightforward way of life. We help the teenagers get through their inter-college years so they can move on to whatever comes next. There’s no big mystery to how we run things. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work every single morning.
