Johns Mary Inter College

Johns Mary Inter College is a local school in the Ram Bagh area of Agra, specifically in Mahavir Nagar. It’s a fairly typical neighborhood college where most of the students live within walking distance. The building has been around for quite a while and it shows some wear and tear, but it’s a sturdy place. We have classrooms for the different grades, and they are usually quite full of noise and energy. The courtyard is where the students spend their breaks, and though it’s not very big, it serves its purpose. Ram Bagh is a crowded part of Agra, so there’s always a lot of activity right outside our gates with rickshaws and vendors. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a place for local kids to get their intermediate education. The teachers are mostly long-time residents of Agra who know the families in the area. We don't have any high-tech classrooms or expensive facilities. It’s just old-fashioned teaching with chalk and boards. Parents often stop by to talk to us about their children's progress, and we have those meetings in the small office near the entrance. Most people know us because they grew up in this neighborhood and saw the college every day. We just try to provide a consistent place for learning without any of the extra fluff you see in newer schools. It’s a community-focused spot that keeps things simple.
