Janta Inter College, Khera Garh

Down in Khera Garh, which is part of the Agra district, you’ll find Janta Inter College. It’s a well-known spot in the village area. The building has been around for quite some time and it shows its age in places, but it’s sturdy. We focus on the inter-college years, which means we have a lot of older students preparing for their futures. The atmosphere is generally quite serious, especially as exams get closer. Everyone knows everyone else here because it’s a small community. You see the same faces every day at the gate. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches that have seen better days. We don't have much in the way of air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans and open windows. When the Agra heat gets too much, things slow down a bit. The teachers here are dedicated and have been with us for a long time. They live in the village or nearby. We don't have a massive budget for marketing or anything like that. We just rely on our reputation in the local area. Parents bring their kids here because it’s convenient and they trust the people running it. We just keep the gates open and the lessons going, year after year. It’s a simple, honest place for the youth of Kheragarh to get their education without any unnecessary frills. We manage the paperwork and the board exams every single year.
