Janta Inter College, Jaitpurkalan

You’ll find us in Village-Jaitpurkalan, right on the road that connects Bah and Etawah. It’s a rural spot in the Agra district, so we get students coming in from several nearby villages. Janta Inter College has been part of this community for a long time. The building is spread out, and the playground is mostly just dirt, but the kids don't seem to mind. We have the usual subjects like math and science, and we try to keep the classrooms decent. It’s a bit far from the main Agra city, so we are our own little world out here. During the summer, it gets very hot in the rooms, but we have fans that do their best. We don't have any fancy technology or computer labs with the latest gadgets. It’s mostly just chalk and talk here. The teachers live nearby and many of them went to this same school when they were younger. We don’t have a big budget for repairs, so sometimes the paint is peeling or a window doesn't shut right. But the lessons happen anyway. We follow the state board rules and make sure the exams are handled properly. It’s a basic school for local families who need a place for their children to study. We just keep the doors open and do the work every day. It is simple but it serves the people who live in this part of the district.
