Har Prasad Raja Ram Adarsh Inter College is located out on Vikram Pur Road in Bah. This is part of the Agra district, though we are a bit of a drive away from the main city. The road here can be a bit dusty, and it sees a lot of tractors and local traffic going by every day. Our college has been a fixture in Bah for many years now, and several generations of families have sent their kids through these doors. It is a large, practical building designed to hold a lot of students. We don’t have fancy carpets or air-conditioned hallways; it is a traditional school through and through. The teachers here mostly live in the surrounding villages, so we have a strong connection to the local land. Our days start very early, and the courtyard gets filled with students in their uniforms quite quickly. We spend our time trying to stay on top of the curriculum and making sure the exams go off without any problems. It’s a lot of administrative work and a lot of time spent in the classrooms. We are just trying to provide a solid education for the youth in this part of Uttar Pradesh. There is no corporate board directing us; it is just the local staff working with what we have. It’s an honest place that serves the needs of the community out here in Bah. We just keep our heads down and do the work daily.
