Govind Iner College

The college is a place where we handle intermediate education. It’s a simple setup—classrooms, a small area for staff, and a yard where the students hang out during their breaks. We don’t have any glossy advertisements or a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up every day and teach the classes. The teachers here are local and they understand the kids who come through our doors. Agra can get really hot in the summer, and we do our best to keep the rooms as comfortable as possible for everyone. We deal with the usual school problems, like fixing old furniture or keeping the registers updated. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t try to act like a big private institution. We’re just a local college for the families in Durga Nagar. Most of our students come from the nearby houses, so we know a lot of the parents by name.
