Geeta Gyan Girls Inter College

Our college is over here in the Defence Colony area of Agra, specifically near Chawli on the C.O.D Road. It's a place where girls from the surrounding neighborhoods come to finish their schooling. We have a building that's been standing for a while, and it has seen many students come and go over the years. Running an inter college isn't always easy, especially when the weather in Agra gets really hot in the summer. We have fans in the classrooms, though they can be a bit loud sometimes. The staff here mostly consists of local women who understand the students and their families. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find out about us by word of mouth or by just living nearby. The gates open early and the girls come in their uniforms ready for the day. We have some space for them to sit outside during their breaks, but it's nothing like a big park. Just a bit of open ground really with a few trees. We spend a lot of time on the syllabus and making sure the exams go smoothly. Every year we paint a few walls to keep things looking okay. It’s just a place for education where we try to do our jobs well. We know the parents and we talk to them when they come by. It is a very normal, local institution for this part of Agra and we like it that way.
