Fateh Chand Inter College

The building sits right in Vill Tota Ka Tal, over in the Lohamandi area of Agra. Most days here start early before the sun gets too high and makes the classrooms stuffy. We’ve got the main gate that faces the street where people are always passing by on their way to work. It’s a busy part of Loha Mandi, so there is usually a lot of noise from rickshaws and vendors outside. Inside, the hallways are wide enough but they show their age if you look closely at the corners. We spend a lot of time just keeping things tidy. The classrooms have big windows to let in whatever breeze we can get. Some of the desks are a bit older, having been used by many groups over the years. During the breaks, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood mixing with everything going on inside. It isn't a fancy place with high walls or polished marble, just a regular brick and mortar setup where people come to spend their day. We keep a few trees in the courtyard that provide some shade when it's needed most. Sometimes the water taps need a bit of a fix and the whiteboards have seen better days, but we manage. People from all around this part of Agra know where we are. It’s just how things are around here in 282002, plain and simple without any big fuss about it.
