Chhote Singh Chauhan Int College

Down in Vill Rudmuli, near Bah, you’ll find us. This college has been around for quite a while now. Most days start early here because the students arrive from all over the Agra area. It’s a simple building, nothing like those modern ones you see in the city. We don't have fancy furniture or shiny floors, just the basics that get the job done. The desks have some scratches, but they work fine. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the classrooms. Most of the staff are from this village or nearby, so we know everyone’s face. It gets really quiet in the afternoons when classes are over. We’re right on the road to Bah, which makes it easy to get to, though the road can be a bit rough after it rains. The courtyard often gets muddy then, and we have to put down some stones so people don't slip. It’s just a regular place for local kids to come and learn their lessons. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just open the gates and do our work. Seeing the students grow up and move on is the main thing that keeps us going year after year. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but that’s just how life is here in the village. We have been a part of this community for years and plan to stay.
