Aman Inter College

Aman Inter College sits in Garhi Ramipo, which is part of the Chhalesar area in Agra. If you know the 282006 pincode, you know it's a busy spot. We are an inter college, so we deal with the older students who are finishing up their schooling. The building itself is right there in the neighborhood, surrounded by other houses and some small shops. It can get pretty loud during the day with the traffic and the general noise of Agra. We don't spend money on big glossy brochures or anything like that. Most of our students come here because their older siblings came here before them. We have a staff that has been with us for a while. We go through the textbooks, hold the classes, and try to keep everyone on track. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we focus more on what's happening inside the classrooms. During the breaks, the students gather in the small courtyard or talk near the entrance. It is a very normal, local scene. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. We just provide a place for the young people in Chhalesar to study. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows and keep going. That is just how things are here. We don't try to pretend to be anything we are not. It’s just a local college for local people in this part of Agra.
