Kultali Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located down in South 24 Parganas, specifically in the Debipur area of Kultali. Our office is care of Niladri Das, right in the village where the air always has a bit of a salty tang because we are so close to the Maipith coastal region. Kultali Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically just us trying to make a living from the land and the water around here. It isn't an easy place to work sometimes, with the tides and the unpredictable weather, but it’s home. The building we use is quite modest and sits among the trees and small houses of the village. We spend a lot of time talking to the local growers about what seeds are working and how to deal with the soil quality. It’s a lot of talking, honestly. People stop by on their bicycles or walk over from their patches of land. We keep the doors open even when it’s hot, which is most of the time. Our paperwork is kept in some old metal cabinets that have started to rust a little at the edges because of the damp air. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just this physical spot where we meet. It’s a small operation for the people living around the 743383 area. We just try to help each other out and get the crops to where they need to go.
