Our business, Flavourmonk Agro Ventures Llp, is run out of a flat in West Garia. We are on the third floor of building 176 in Briji. It is not your typical farm office, being in the city and all. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer trying to coordinate things. The space is a bit cramped with files and samples everywhere. Usually, there is a lot of noise from the street below, but we have gotten used to it by now. We started this because we wanted to do something in the agro sector. It is mostly just a small team of us working here every day. We handle the paperwork and the logistics from this flat. Sometimes it feels like we are just moving papers around, but it is all part of getting the food products to where they need to go. Garia is a busy place, and getting around can be a real headache with the traffic. We don't have a big warehouse here, just our desks and some basic equipment. It is a practical way to run things without spending too much on a fancy office. We focus on the everyday tasks like checking orders and talking to suppliers. It is a lot of trial and error as we learn how to manage everything. We are just trying to build something steady in the agro world from our small corner in Kolkata.
