Moyna Vivekananda Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Village Raichak. You can find us care of Alok Ranjan Bera. Raichak is a small place, and our group is made up of the people who have been farming these lands for years. We aren't a big corporate entity with a lot of rules. We are more like a group of neighbors who decided to join forces. Alok’s place serves as our main point of contact. We meet there to discuss what we are going to plant and how we can get the best results. The Moyna area has its own way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. We just speak plainly about what we need and what we are doing. Farming is a gamble sometimes, and being in a producer company helps take some of the pressure off. We handle the collection of the produce and try to find the best ways to get it to the market. It’s a lot of physical labor and a fair bit of paperwork that we do in the evenings. Our village is a tight community, and the company is just an extension of that. We focus on the day-to-day tasks, like making sure the seeds are distributed fairly. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life, and we are proud of the work we do.
