Amantran Farmer Producer Company Limited

Sankarpur is a quiet village, and that’s where we are based. Amantran Farmer Producer Company Limited is over here in the Magrahat-I block of South 24 Parganas. Our address is at Village Sankarpur, near the Pranballavpur post office. It’s a bit of a trek from the main road, but it’s where most of us live and work. We started this because we all farm the same kind of land and it made sense to group up. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of staff in suits. Usually, it’s just a couple of us sitting in the room near Usthi, checking on the stocks or talking to the other members. The village life is slow but the farm work is hard. We deal with the seasons as they come. Sometimes the harvest is good, sometimes it’s not so great, and we just deal with it. People around here know us as their neighbors first. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like a big corporation. We’re just a producer company made of regular people. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and worrying about the rain. It’s just how we operate. Nothing is very polished, but we get the work done in our own way.
