Paschim Nararthali Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out in Paschim Narartholi. We are set up at Plot No. 2008, at Bimal Kr. Ray’s place. It’s a community-driven thing where we farmers from the village have come together. D/Narartholi is the local post office we use. Life out here revolves around the seasons and the crops. We aren't a big corporate entity; we're just a bunch of neighbors working on the same goals. Our setup is pretty basic. We use the space at the house to keep our records and meet up to talk about what needs to be done. It's not a polished office with air conditioning. It’s more of a place where you can find mud on the floor from someone coming in from the fields. We started this because we wanted to have a better way to handle our produce. Every day there is something different to deal with, whether it’s seeds, water, or selling the harvest. We try to look out for each other. The village is small, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing anyway. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just what's necessary to get the job done. It’s about getting the work done together and making sure the families here have what they need. If you visit, you’ll find us busy with the practical side of farming. We just take things one day at a time. It’s hard work, but when we work together as a group, it feels a bit easier to manage the daily struggles of farming life.
