Srija Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at 01 Babpur, which is near Madhabpur in North Twenty Four Parganas. This is where we live and where we work. We don't have a big headquarters or anything fancy like that. It’s just a regular spot in the village where we gather to talk about the farming. Most of us here have calloused hands and spend more time in the sun than behind a desk. We handle the business of the local farmers, making sure we can get what we need for the season. Some days are long and tiring, especially when we have to travel across North 24 Parganas to meet people. The road to Babpur can be a bit bumpy depending on the time of year. We know everyone around here by their first name. It isn't like those big companies in the city where nobody knows anyone. We share news about our families and the crops while we work. If you drop by, you might find us sitting on plastic chairs outside, just getting through the afternoon heat. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and maybe some notes about seed prices. We do what we can with what we have. It’s a local effort, through and through. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished flyers. We just want to keep the farming going in our little corner of Madhabpur. That's about it for us.
