Naturalcrop Bio Energy Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Ompal Singh’s place in Rasidgarh. It is house number one. We are a farmer producer company, which is a bit of a formal way of saying we are a group of neighbors working together. Our main focus is on natural crops and how we can use them for bio energy. It is a lot of trial and error. We do not have any experts from the city helping us, we just figure it out as we go along. Ompal’s house is where we meet to talk about the business. Rasidgarh is a small place, so everyone knows what we are trying to do. Some people think it is a good idea and others are not so sure. We just keep working on it. The name Naturalcrop was chosen because it reflects what we are dealing with every day. There is a lot of paperwork involved in running a company like this, and none of us really likes doing it, but it is necessary. We spend our mornings out in the fields and our afternoons dealing with the company stuff. It is a long day usually. We do not have any big slogans or promises. We just want to see if we can make this bio energy thing work for our village. It is just us, the crops, and a lot of hard work. That is the truth of it.
