Comet Industries

Comet Industries is tucked away at Plot No. 506-5-a in the Gidc Industrial Estate. If you know the estate, you know how it is—lots of trucks, noise, and people always in a hurry. Our spot isn't the biggest, but we make it work with what we have. We do a lot of different things here, mostly involving metal and parts. The floor is usually covered in some kind of shavings or oil, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the job, I suppose. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows their role by now. We don't really bother with big speeches or anything. If there’s work, we do it. The roof leaks a little bit when it rains really hard, so we have to move the stock around sometimes. It’s a bit of a hassle, but we’ve learned to deal with it over the years. Some of the machines are older than the workers, yet they still run fine if you know how to kick them in the right place. We get our supplies from the guys down the road, and they get stuff from us. It’s a decent little community in the Gidc. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to make good parts and get home to our families at the end of the day. It's noisy and dusty, but it’s our place.
