Braj Industries

Braj Industries is over at Plot No. 10, A-2 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of metal hitting metal or engines running in the background. We’ve got a shop floor that stays pretty busy most of the time. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of the grease and the dust from the machines, but we like it that way. It feels like real work is happening. We make different parts and pieces, and we’ve been doing it at this same spot for a good while. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so we don't have to explain much to each other anymore. We just know what needs to be made. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which is frustrating, but that’s just life in a factory. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we mostly just hang out in the main area where the work happens. If you come looking for us, don't expect anything fancy. We’re just a bunch of people trying to make a living and get our orders out on time. The Gidc estate has a lot of businesses like ours, and we all just try to stay out of each other's way and keep things moving forward with the daily production.
