Fuse India

Our workshop, Fuse India, is at Plot No. 106-9 in the GIDC area. It’s a busy spot with trucks and motorcycles moving around all day long. We make electrical fuses and small components. It involves a lot of sitting at benches and working with small wires and metal caps. Your eyes can get a bit tired by the end of the day from looking at the tiny parts. We have been in GIDC for several years and have seen many businesses come and go. Our building is a bit older and the walls have some stains, but the roof doesn't leak and the benches are sturdy. We have a small radio that we play in the background to keep things lively. Most of our guys have been here for a long time and know the routines by heart. We don’t really do meetings or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done when the morning shift starts. The heat in the summer can be tough because of the soldering irons, so we keep the big industrial fans blowing all day. Sometimes we have issues with the raw material suppliers being late, which throws off our schedule, but we usually catch up. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big sign or a fancy lobby. We just make sure the fuses are put together right so nobody has problems later.
