Sajjan India Ltd.

Plot No. 6102-03 and 6117-19 covers a lot of ground. Sajjan India Ltd. is spread out over these spots, so there is plenty of walking involved for everyone. You spend half the morning just going from one side to the other to check on things. It’s a big operation compared to some of the smaller plots nearby. We have different sections for different parts of the process. The noise level changes depending on which building you are in. Some parts are quiet with people just looking at screens, while other areas have the heavy clanking of pipes and valves. We have a lot of safety rules we have to follow because of the size of the place. Wearing the helmets and the vests is a must, even if it gets sweaty. We have a canteen where most of the guys eat. The food is okay, nothing special, but it’s better than carrying a tiffin every day. It’s a lot to manage. We have shifts that run through the night, so the lights are almost never off. It feels like a small town sometimes with so many people moving around. We don't really do much in the way of talking to the public. We just focus on the production lines and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly before they head out to the main road. It’s a lot of responsibility.
