Amal Rasayan Ltd.

Amal Rasayan Ltd. is located over at Plot No. 136-137. It’s a pretty large area because we need the room for the storage tanks and the processing units. Working with chemicals means there is always a certain smell in the air, something you just stop noticing after a week of working here. We have to be careful with everything we do, so things move a bit slower than in a machine shop. There is a lot of walking back and forth between the two plots. The concrete floor is stained in a few places where things spilled years ago, but it’s a solid old building. We spend a lot of time checking the gauges and making sure the pipes aren't leaking. It’s a lot of routine work that doesn't change much from Monday to Saturday. The lunchroom is where everyone gathers at one o'clock, and that’s usually the loudest part of the day. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the name painted on the wall near the main gate. Sometimes the trucks have trouble backing into the loading dock because the road is a bit narrow there. We just help guide them in. It is a messy job sometimes, especially when we have to clean out the tanks, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this location for a long time and we know all the other owners on this block.
