Anil Synthetics

Over at Plot No. 285/3 in the GIDC Estate, you’ll find Anil Synthetics. We work with synthetic materials and textiles, which means our shop floor is usually covered in rolls of fabric and various fibers. The machines we use are quite old but they still run well if you know how to treat them. It’s a constant hum of activity from the moment we open the gates in the morning. We don't do anything too fancy; we just produce the materials that our customers ask for. Most of our clients are in the garment or upholstery business. We’ve been in this specific plot for a long time, so we’ve become a fixture in this part of the GIDC. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is worn down from years of heavy foot traffic and moving crates around. We don't mind it, though. It feels like a place where real work happens. Our staff is local, and many of them have been here since the beginning. We don't have a human resources department or a corporate office. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out on the floor. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. We focus on the daily output and making sure the machines don't break down mid-shift. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know.
