Amal Products Ltd.

We share the space at Plot No. 136-137, which is quite a big stretch of land. Amal Products Ltd. is where we focus on making the actual goods. It’s a different vibe than the chemical side of things. We have rows of workstations and a lot of packaging materials piled up near the exit. Every morning starts with a quick talk about what needs to get finished by five. Sometimes we are ahead of schedule and other times we are rushing to catch up because a machine broke down or someone didn't show up. It’s the usual struggle you find in any factory in this area. We have a small fan near every station because it gets incredibly hot in the afternoons during the summer. The roof is made of metal sheets so you can really hear the rain when it pours. It’s a simple operation and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We just make the products and get them out the door. Most of our workers live close by, so they walk or cycle in. We have a small area out front where we keep a few plants, though they struggle a bit with all the dust from the road. It’s just a regular place where people work hard to earn a living. We’ve been here long enough that the gate needs a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet.
