Vemula Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our company, Vemula Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located at H NO 4-116 in Bhumaiahgari Pally. That’s in the Vemula area of Cuddapah. It’s a quiet part of the world, mostly farms and small houses. We don’t have a big fancy office building. It’s just a house, really, where we do the business of the producer company. Most of us grew up right here in Cuddapah. We know the land and we know the people. We started this because it made sense for the farmers in Vemula to have a central place to deal with things. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s just a room with a table and some ledgers. Sometimes the fans don't work and it gets hot, but we still sit there and talk about the harvest. We don’t use any of those big words you hear in business school. We just talk plain English and local language. If you come by Bhumaiahgari Pally, you’ll find us easily enough at 4-116. There’s usually someone around to answer questions or just share some water. We are just local folks working for other local folks. It’s a practical setup and it’s worked for us so far. We don’t need anything more than that to get the job done and keep things moving for everyone in the area.
