We’ve been running the Yavatmal Jilha Dugdh Producer Company Limited out of Pusad for a good while. Our office is set up at Shri Babusingh Fattu Jadhao’s place in Citwa Ward, right here in Yavatmal. It is a local operation where we deal with milk from the surrounding farms. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the dairy business isn't always easy. Every morning starts early when the sun is just coming up. We spend our time checking the milk and making sure everything is handled right before it goes out. Being a producer company means we work directly with the farmers in the district. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but that is just part of it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the cows and the milk. People know the address in Citwa Ward if they have questions or need to drop something off. It's a practical setup, nothing flashy. We just try to do our jobs and help the local dairy community stay afloat. Maharashtra summers can be tough on the cattle, so we stay busy all year round. It is honest work and we are just regular people from the neighborhood trying to make it work. Our goals are simple and we just take things one day at a time without any big corporate talk.
