Swapnapurti Mahila Shetkari Producer Company Limited is located in the Wani area. We operate out of Sanjay Rambhau Parodhi’s place, which is Lg 69 in Lalguda Wani. This is specifically in the Wani Taluka. As a group of women farmers, we wanted a space that felt local and accessible. Using Sanjay’s place as our base of operations was the most practical choice. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s just a home in Lalguda where we can sit down and talk about our farming business. We spend a lot of time discussing the different crops and the challenges of the season. The atmosphere is very informal; you might hear the sounds of the household while we’re going over the accounts. We don’t have a website or a marketing team. Word of mouth in Wani is how most people find out about what we’re doing. We focus on the day-to-day tasks of running a producer company without all the extra fluff you see in the cities. Our furniture is mismatched and our filing system is just a few sturdy folders, but it works for what we need. We’re proud to be women farmers working together right here in our own community. It’s a simple, honest way to run things, and being based at Lg 69 keeps us connected to the neighborhood and each other. We’re just local people doing our best with what we have.
