Shramshree Shetkari Producer Companylimited is based here in Yavatmal. We operate from the Sisodiya Layout in Arni, specifically care of Shri Anant Wamanrao Gawande. Arni is a small place and we are just a small part of the community here. Most of us involved in this company are farmers ourselves. We started this to help each other out with the business side of things because it’s hard to do everything alone. Yavatmal 445001 is where we live and work every day. We don't have any big mission statements or marketing experts on staff. We just have a lot of years of experience with the local soil and knowing what grows best in this weather. Some days the heat out here is almost too much to handle, but the work doesn't stop for that. We spend our time coordinating equipment, seeds, and fertilizer. It is all very practical work. There are always chores to do and things that need fixing around the place. We aren't looking for any awards or recognition. We just want to make sure our families can keep on farming for another generation. If you come to Sisodiya Layout, you'll probably find us. We are usually sitting around drinking tea and talking about when the next harvest will be ready. It's a simple life and the company reflects that. We just do our best with what we have and try to keep moving. It’s honest work for local people.
