Saptrasrungi Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out here in Ralegaon Pandharkawada. We use a small space at Shri Keshaorao Thngemangi's place. It’s a quiet area and most of us have lived here all our lives, working the same dirt our fathers did. We mostly grow what everyone else around here grows, but we decided to register as a company to see if we could get a bit more organized. It's hard to keep track of everything when you're just one person with a small plot. We get together to talk about seeds and what the soil needs this season. Sometimes we sit around for hours just trying to figure out the best time to sell our produce so we don't get cheated. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just us. We don't have fancy brochures or a marketing team. Most of the time, our hands are dirty from the daily work. We've had some tough seasons lately with the climate being so strange, but being part of this group makes it feel a bit more manageable. We share tools when someone's tractor breaks down or help each other out during the harvest when things get really busy. It's just local people trying to make a living from the land. We aren't promising anything big, just keeping at the work every day. The office isn't much to look at, just a room where we keep our records and meet up.
