New Ugale Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Rajegaon in the Ghansawangi area. We work out of Bandu Ueeamrao Ugale’s place. We are just a group of local folks who spend our entire lives working in the fields. Farming is what we know best, but the business side of things has always been a struggle for us. That is the main reason we started this company. We wanted a way to be more organized and have more strength in the market. In Rajegaon, we grow crops like cotton or soy, depending on what the season looks like. It is very tough work and we don't really get any holidays. We meet at Bandu’s house to talk about the latest prices and how we are going to get our produce to the city. We don't have any paid staff or a big corporate building. It is just us farmers doing all the work ourselves. Sometimes we struggle with the paperwork and all the legal stuff, but we try to help each other out. We have seen how difficult it is for a single farmer to get a fair deal, so we are trying to do everything as a team now. It feels a bit safer that way. We aren't looking for anything fancy, just a way to make sure our hard work isn't wasted. If you visit Rajegaon, you will see us out in the fields or gathered at the house. We are just simple people trying to make a living.
