Our office is really just at House No. 459 in Ramnagar, which is part of Kelapur. Krushivrata Farmersproducer Companylimited was set up because a lot of us in the village needed a better way to organize. You can find us care of Chandku Govind Tekam's place. It’s a very local thing, mostly just neighbors and families from around here who are all farming. We don't have a fancy website or a big board of directors sitting in some city. It is just us sitting around talking about what we need for the next season. Being a producer company means we can buy things together and maybe get a better price when we sell. Farming in Kelapur has its ups and downs depending on the rain, but having this company helps us feel a bit more secure. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to make a living off our land. The paperwork can be a bit much sometimes, but we help each other out with it. If you come by Ramnagar, you’ll see it’s a quiet place where everyone knows everyone else. We started this because it made sense for the community. There are no big promises here, just hard work and the hope that the next harvest is a good one for all of us in the group. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
