Krushival Babhulgaon Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically based out of Shri. S. M. Borbade’s house. We are located in Gharfal, which is part of the Yavatmal (R) area. It is a very rural spot and you will see a lot of green fields all around us. We don't have a corporate office with a receptionist. When someone wants to talk to us, they just come to the front door of the house and ask for us. Most of the people involved are local farmers from the Babhulgaon area who have known each other for years. We sit on the porch or in the main room to discuss the crop seasons and what we need to buy or sell. The weather in Yavatmal can be tough, especially when it is really hot, so we do a lot of our planning in the shade. There are always stacks of registers and bags sitting around the corner. We keep things very simple here. It is about helping the group get by and making sure the farming work stays on track. Sometimes the village kids play out front while we are trying to count the latest numbers. It is not a quiet office, but it is where we feel comfortable. We drink a lot of water and tea during the long meetings. It is just a bunch of neighbors working together to try and keep the farm business going.
