Krushipragati Farmers Producer Companylimited

This group started right here in Shiroli at Shri Krushnarao N Yerawar’s place. We are a bunch of farmers from Ghatanji who decided to join together as a producer company. It made sense because working alone in Yavatmal can be pretty tough sometimes. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting at the house to discuss what to plant next. It’s not a fancy setup. The office is basically where Krushnarao lives. When harvest time comes, things get really hectic. We handle everything from getting seeds to sorting out the harvest for sale. Being in a rural spot like 445301 means we know our neighbors and how the soil works in this part of the district. It’s mostly about helping each other out with the heavy lifting and sharing the costs. Some days we just sit around and worry about the rain, while other days we’re loading trucks until late at night. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us, the farmers, trying to make a living in Ghatanji. We started small and we’re still just local people. If you know the area near Shiroli, you probably know where we are located. It’s a simple way of life and we’re okay with that. There is always work to be done and we just keep at it day by day.
