Kalamb Mahila Producer Company Limited is based out of Kalamb in the Yavatmal district. You can find us on Rasa Road, which is a fairly busy street around here. We are a group of women who came together to manage our produce and help each other out with the farming business. It’s not a fancy operation. Our office on Rasa Road is where we keep our records and hold our meetings. We talk a lot about the crops and how to get a fair price for what we grow. Being in Maharashtra-445101, we are right in the middle of the agricultural belt. The work is hard, but we enjoy being our own bosses. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write glossy reports. We just keep track of what we produce and make sure the logistics are handled. The office is a bit small, and sometimes it gets crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work. We use simple tools and focus on the practical side of things. Most of us have been farming all our lives, so we know what we’re doing. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to make a decent living for our families. Rasa Road is a good spot for us because everyone knows where it is and it’s easy for the trucks to get to. It’s just us doing our thing and hoping for a good season each year.
