Biokranti Farmer Producer Company

We set this up at Pradip Ramdas Nimkar’s place over on Ytl Road in Darwha. It’s right in the Wardhmannagar area. We are just a local group of farmers who wanted to try something a bit different with how we handle our produce. The name sounds a bit modern, but we are just regular people who spend our days in the dirt. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to get a better handle on our own farming business. The office is basically a room where we keep our logbooks and talk about the harvest. We don't have any professional managers or anything. We just do it ourselves. Some days are spent out in the sun and other days we are sitting inside trying to make sense of the new rules or paperwork. It’s been a learning curve for sure. We started this because doing everything alone was getting too difficult. Now we share the load. We talk about seeds, water, and where to sell the crops. It's a simple life, but it's what we know. The town of Darwha is where we do most of our business. If you walk down towards Wardhmannagar, you might see us. We are just trying to make a decent living off the land we’ve always known. The road to Ytl can be quite busy, but our place is a bit tucked away. We often have neighbors stopping by to ask how the crops are looking this season.
