We started Shreejagatgal Basaveshwara Farmers Producer Company Limited because a few of us here in Yadgir felt we could do more if we worked together. Shivarajappa's place, over at Gokulnilaya near Laxmi Nagar, is where we mostly meet up to figure things out. It isn't a big fancy office or anything, just a house where we sit and talk about what the farmers in our area actually need. Life out here in Yadgir is mostly about the land and the seasons. Some days are harder than others, especially when the rain doesn't show up on time. We spend a lot of our time looking at how to get better seeds or maybe shared equipment that one person can't buy on their own. It’s mostly local guys who know the soil around here. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation that nobody understands. We just want to make sure the people growing the food get a fair deal and don't have to struggle by themselves. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we manage somehow. You can usually find someone at the house on H.No 1-5-229/1 if you have questions or just want to chat about the crops. It’s a practical setup. We just keep moving forward, one season at a time, trying to keep things steady for the families involved. It’s honest work, and having a group like this makes the heavy lifting a little easier for everyone in the village.
