Shorapur Taluka Millets Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located at H No E 34 on the Main Road in Shellagi. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are driving through. We focus on millets because that is what grows well around here in the Shorapur taluka. Our building is just a regular house on the main road that we turned into an office for the producer company. Most of us are farmers ourselves so we know what the struggle is like with the weather and the markets. We keep all our records in the front room and sometimes use the back for storage when things get busy. The road outside is always loud with tractors and bikes passing by. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. It’s just us sitting around a table trying to figure out how to sell our millets for a fair price. We’ve been at this address for a bit and everyone in Shellagi knows where we are. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grains that the members bring in. It's dusty work but someone has to do it. We just wanted to have our own place to run the millet business. There is always someone here during the day if anyone needs help or just wants to talk about the next crop cycle. It works out fine for everyone.
