Vishnu Public School

Vishnu Public School is sitting right here in Vishnupur, Bhimavaram. If you know the 534201 area, you probably know where we are. It’s a straightforward kind of place where we just handle the day-to-day of running a school. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around when they aren't stuck behind their desks. The teachers here have their own way of doing things, mostly just sticking to the books and making sure the homework gets done. We don't have any of those big shiny statues or expensive lobby furniture you see in the city schools. It’s more about the routine of the bells ringing and the kids shouting during their lunch hour. Sometimes the roof needs a bit of a fix after the rains, and we just get it sorted out when we can. We've been here in Bhimavaram for a bit, so we see the same families coming through year after year. It’s nice to see the younger siblings starting out where their older brothers and sisters finished. We keep the gates open in the morning and shut them once the first period starts. It’s not a complicated operation, just a local school doing what schools do. We try to keep the dust off the benches, but with so many feet moving around, it’s a constant battle. That is just life at a school like ours in Vishnupur.
